College may be the first 和 most important investment decision you’ll make as a young adult—one that impacts the rest of your financial life. But it is not a step you have to take alone. Our admission 和 financial aid team will help you design an aid package that can include need- 和 merit-based scholarships, 奖助金, loans 和/or campus employment. Contact your admission counselor or the financial aid team to get started on your path to a 中北书院 degree.
奖学金(大一新生, 转移, 国际)
Academic scholarships are renewable provided you maintain the required GPA each year 和 maintain full-time undergraduate status. Merit scholarships—available to both 大一新生 和 转移 学生和 国际—are not based on financial need. Your application for admission 和 academic credentials are used to award these funds unless otherwise noted. Your achievements 和 special talents in other academic 和 activity areas, such as education or the fine arts, could result in additional scholarship opportunities.
Donor scholarships are posted through AcademicWorks, 和 both new 和 continuing students can search that website for applications for these scholarships. Internal 和 external scholarships can be found under the Opportunities option. Please note the deadline as scholarship applications will be removed from AcademicWorks when deadlines have past.
奖助金
奖助金 are awarded based on financial need. To be eligible, you must file the Free Application for Federal Student 援助 (FAFSA) along with other requested documents. Unlike student loans, 奖助金 do not need to be repaid.
贷款
学生贷款 are administered by the federal government. These education loans offer much better financial terms than personal loans. Unlike 奖助金 和 scholarships, of course, loans have to be repaid. You’ll want to carefully study the requirements 和 conditions of these loans.
Federal Work-Study Program (FWS)
To be considered for FWS, you'll need to file the FAFSA. We’ll determine your eligibility based on your financial need 和, 如果授予, 你可以赚300到2美元,每年000. The available positions vary greatly 和 are not guaranteed. 搜索 through postings to see 提供工作岗位. If you secure a federal work study position, you will earn a regular bi-weekly paycheck. Funds from this financial aid program are not applied directly to your student account.
